Holy electric blue. Or cerulean if you wish to get technical. Kindred readers and personal friends that have long traced my personal taste will quickly recall that I'm not the type to gravitate towards the brightest ends of the color spectrum. However, A recently received asos parcel bearing the gracious iridescent fruits of sartorial labor in the form of this jumper has had me think twice about my conformity to darker hues. As a result, yesterday's speedy run to downtown coffee lounge Halcyon was the first time in my existence that I've felt like some vibrant cloud, lofting about around the streets and attracting all sorts of passerby glances. It was mighty uncomfortable. But for the sake of my love for a good jumper, I'll live with the painful attention. Especially considering that the sweater's silhouette reminds me of a certain Alexander Wang aesthetic, which consequently makes my heart beat in joy at the thought of having saved a large penny on such tough winter artillery (all in my head).

 I've already begun compiling lists of worthy purchases to make the transition into a state of somewhat color fancy all the more plausible, so join me in looking forward to a somewhat 'colorful' Spring (pay attention to the quotation marks). First, I have to trek my way through these random days of winter flurries. Oh, that and continue with whipping up some posts on memorable New York collections thus far (A. Wang has been taken care of). I think I'll survive.
