Throwing in a couple of variants from a weekend I dedicated to New York survival kit fabrication. One week left and provisions are still filtering in, not to mention the headspace I'm working on sorting out thoroughly. Left on the hit list: formidable heat/rain resistant sweater, miscellaneous pirate loot, and a cap that doesn't make a mockery out of my unflattering cranium.
Thankfully, humorist novels and borrowed subscriptions of The New Yorker have had the past few days in fleeting format, and will continue to do so throughout this whole preparation process. Well, preparation might be too bold of a word. I never imagined that the fictional escapades of two pre-teen Kilburn girls would rob me of my productive periods. Thanks for that Zadie Smith.
