part of the moss

Amalgams of leather, wood, and sinuous greenery apparently mark the setting of what I'll call the second of many 'first' days of Fall here in Austin (spastic climate, you see). All the anticipated jitters are there despite heavy-duty layered armor, which works in one of those perfectly odd ways that come across...never. A stepping-stone towards harsher weather, I guess. Suiting up in a felt jacket that ostentatiously shares bodily space with trash-bag sleeves is just another case of those perfectly odd situations. At this point, I'll stick to boldness in wear if it means avoiding cryogenics.
(f21 jacket, dkny jeans/belt, zara shoes)
Redoubling in burgundy also felt appropriate as an homage to what I consider a staple for the coming months. Referencing wine in healthy ways is a plus, even if in just the most meager amount of sleeve. I have a lust for the minute.
