Interrupting note about Paris: In what's perhaps the most amnesia-proof silhouette for me this season (there were those furry Birkenstocks, but I'll kindly bow out on those), here's the intertwined obi. Delayed note to self: Phoebe Philo doesn't mess around. The whole idea behind a front double knot at Céline is so oddly far-fetched yet promisingly practical that it has swayed me to contemplate the male alternative. After all, the whole rearer-of-child look isn't entirely unappealing...but maybe I'm just delirious.

It does makes sense as to why Philo interlocked white and beige silk in such a way, given the friendship motif she adopted for Spring. Funny/rad how friendship can manifest itself in obi-belt form, which is making my obsession seem all the more reasonable.
