Notions of speed should be the subtext for this jacket, which I resurrected from exile or whatever you would call a coffin of forgotten artifacts. A strange find, but I'll just assume that accumulated karma finally validated itself. I'm still unsure of how I ever let go of anything so streamlined and unnecessarily belted...perhaps motocross vibes weren't as rampant in my head as they are now, and if that's the case, the old me should have been clairvoyant. Now for context. Austin is in the midst of that transitional period between winter and fall that works better in theory than it does in actuality so I'm doing my best to hang on to my sanity. Black and charcoal has been the fix, and looking like a school kid clad in uniform cap the extra baggage. These moments...
(zara jacket, topman sweater, vanheusen cap, cheap monday 'perry' shorts)
Gearing up for SXSW at least has the courtesy benefit of pulling me out of seasonal limbo.

I love the transitional season, so many more opportunities for layering, or leaving your jacket/coat open so your total look can be seen <3
